June 15th
It is 100 degrees or thereabouts in KC today. It reminds me of that awful, non-air conditioned summer of 2012 when it was over 100 everyday for a month. That was a hot, dry, lonely summer in many ways. June 15th is also my brother John's birthday. He lives in River Falls, WI which is, basically, considered to be an outlying suburb of the Twin Cities. By my reckoning, he is 52 today. I will have to call him later. He is one of the many good men it has been my good fortune to know in my life. He has an excellent sense of humor and knows most - if not all - M*A*S*H episodes by heart.
