#ugh

It is almost 4am. I have to be at work at 6:45. My animals are making it difficult to sleep but it is more than that keeping me awake. It is as if the atmosphere is supercharged and some kind of subliminal energy is making me pretty much wide awake. Maybe, it is the fact that I am lying in a really uncomfortable position.  I am lying in an insane animal straight jacket. Yoshi, my little dog, is on my right side pretty much in my armpit area. He has one of his biscuits from the pet store. Whenever Mimi, my girl cat and lone female pet, gets close to him, he growls at her because he is afraid she is going to steal it. She is presently lying in the area at the top of my thighs but she is not sleeping. She is waiting for me to pet her so she can revel in it to the point she will drive me nuts swirling around me for more attention. Mr. White, my white cat, has been at the bottom left corner of the mattress most of the night. Because of where he and Yoshi are on the bed, I cannot lie straight up and down on the mattress. I was and I could not move or really turn to the right or the left. I have solved that dilemma. I am lying diagonally. Mr. White is on his corner on the bottom left. Yoshi is still in my right armpit but I have some freedom of movement. Simon is, thankfully, sleeping in the pet bed on the floor.
