#Ugh

My sons are grown. At one point, I had 3 boys at home under the age of five. That seems like a million years ago. I must have been busy and sleep-deprived often.  The more things change, the more they stay the same. I now have 1 dog, an almost 10-year-old Chihuahua, and two cats. I don't have to be at work this morning . . . or do I?
First, my son leaves for work. Our dog loves my son more than me so, when he is home, the dog is with him. The minute my son leaves for work, Yoshi comes in my room to get in bed with me. The only problem is he is little and my bed is not. I have to get up, pick him up and put him on the bed with me.  Then, our one cat, who has to be special needs of some sort, has her morning jealousy fit. Yoshi sleeps right by me. Well, the cat has to get in on it. She moves herself right next to him and stretches one of her front paws out to touch my shoulder. Yoshi hates it when the cat lies basically right on top of him so he moves and then she moves. It never ends and a restless scenario ensues. Then, Mr. White, my other cat, has become enamored of going out in the hall and wandering around the landings on this floor and the 2nd floor. He needs adult supervision when he does so. I have indulged him several times. Hence, he often stands by the door to the hallway and meows softly but incessantly to go out on a field trip again. He was doing this this morning while Yoshi and Mimi were trying to establish supremacy next to me on the bed.
I went out and put bird videos on our TV to distract my furry toddler and it isn't even time for breakfast yet. I will just try to lie here another couple minutes.
