Two Hawks & Sheila, Maybe

Yesterday morning, I was depressed and sitting outside in front of the apartment building. I was chatting with a neighbor about the respective leaks in both of our apartments from all the rain. There is a hole somewhere on the roof and the water is funneled down between the walls and leaks in various places in both our apartments. Something made me look up. Something really did. Maybe, it was Sheila? She's been making herself known in freaky ways lately. Straight above me far up in the sky were 2 hawks soaring together but soaring in opposing concentric circles. I said something to the effect of, "There are 2 hawks circling above us".  I can't actually say they were hawks because they were too far away but Red-Tailed Hawks  are the most likely raptor to be flying above an urban area. The guy I was talking with continued on, without pausing to even look up briefly, talking about the leaks and the new apartment management company and how maybe the leaks will finally get fixed.  How mundane. How unfortunate. There were hawks in our midst. As I watched, one circled around and flew northeast out of my frame of view. Shortly thereafter, the other one turned and flew South. Maybe, that is the hawk that sometimes sits on the light in the middle of Southwest Trafficway.
