A Pretty Handsome Dog

      I live across the street from a 24/7 gas station. They allow dogs in there so I often take Heisenberg, my little alleged Chihuahua, with me like I did this morning. I wanted coffee. They brew some kind of obscure local coffee and, in a pinch, it tastes good. Today, the coffee was empty at 10am and, unlike more, corporate run quikshops, the employees @ Shell on Main & 39th, are never concerned when the coffee is empty.       So no coffee but I bought a bag of Hostess powdered donuts & an original-flavored Slim Jim for Heisenberg. I break that into small pieces over the course of the day as a treat for him. As far as the donuts are concerned, I have learned to be careful about buying them because, wherever they are stored, must also have stored incense and candles and the donuts CAN taste like the incense and candles smell.       As I was waiting to pay, a couple decked out for winter in Minnesota, came in and, as they w...

Terrance Coleman & A$AP Rocky

     When I was growing up, we called Ubers & Lyfts, taxis. I still call them that but, if I mention taking a taxi to one work to one of my young coworkers, they look at me & say "Taxi?" like they don't understand it & they probably don't.       Last week, I took a LYFT to work one day when it was really cold. When the driver picked me up, I didn't recognize him but he remembered me. A lot of Lyft & Uber drivers play generic music appropriate for any demographic and many don't care who is riding in their cars & play all kinds of music. I actually prefer these drivers because I like a lot of current music as well. I liked whatever song he was playing & said so & then asked if it was $ASAP Rocky because I THOUGHT I recognized the voice. Well, it wasn't #ASAP Rocky & the driver told me the name of the artist who was unfamiliar to me. But, then.      Then, he said, "But $ASAP Rocky was on in the car last time I pic...
