#Ugh

My sons are grown. At one point, I had 3 boys at home under the age of five. That seems like a million years ago. I must have been busy and sleep-deprived often.  The more things change, the more they stay the same. I now have 1 dog, an almost 10-year-old Chihuahua, and two cats. I don't have to be at work this morning . . . or do I?      First, my son leaves for work. Our dog loves my son more than me so, when he is home, the dog is with him. The minute my son leaves for work, Yoshi comes in my room to get in bed with me. The only problem is he is little and my bed is not. The only thing I hated was the cat being eaten by Dart, one of the many weirdly-shaped, flower monsters. Why did it have to be a cat that died?      Then, today, I went to see "The Shape of Water". The director is one of my favorites and the trailer I saw appealed to me. In it, a woman and an amphibious creature fall in love. She even continues interacting with him AFTER he eats one of her friends' cats. Ummm . . . Red Flag behavior. Show him the door pronto. For me, this was almost a great movie but it was marred by gratuit...
